Installation Overview
Slide backrest panels off of aluminum frame.
Mark off top hole location on one side of wall bracket, and notch tile with center punch.
Secure with appropriate fastener and waterproofing.
Slide bottom backrest panel onto frame and ensure it can easily slide between wall brackets. Ensure seat is level.
Mark off top hole location on other side of wall bracket, and notch tile with center punch.
Secure with appropriate fastener and waterproofing. Repeat steps 5-6 for 6 remaining holes.
Slide both backrest panels onto the wall brackets.
Inspect hardware regularly, and tighten if required.

+ How do I clean the seat?
The back rests lift out to allow for cleaning of the wall behind seat. Clean seat with water and then wipe dry using a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning products (which can scratch the wood finish).
+ What is the seat finish?
Each slat is finished with Rubio Monocoat, an extremely durable 2-part natural oil finish that does not contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs) or other harmful chemicals.
+ Will the seat fade?
Through our tests, only contact with direct sunlight causes the seat to weather over time (similar to other woods).
+ Why does your seat support 500lbs/227kg without legs?
The design of the SerenaSeat frame with the installation into a secure structure allows for a weight capacity up to 500lbs/227kg.
